Do not stop believing for a moment that even the tiniest action does not make an impact on the environment! The Earth is our home, and it is important to keep our homes and ourselves healthy and thriving. Here are some easy tips that help make change and help the Earth – all with minimal effort.

We have heard this a million times, but what steps can we take to waste the least amount of water possible? The answer is simple. Doing things like turning off the water while brushing your teeth, keeping cold water in the fridge rather than running the tap, and cut down on the length of showers.

#2. Recycle correctly

Do your bit by putting the appropriate item in the appropriate recycling bin. When you see a plastic bottle or an aluminum can peeking out of the incorrect bin at the office, then put it in the correct bin.

#3. Unplug electronics

All the electronics in our homes, even when they are turned off, are still consuming electricity. Do a walk-through and unplug those that are not in use. Think about it – do you really need to use the coffee maker as a clock?

#4. Donate Used Clothing

If you do not have to throw it out then please do not throw it. Donate old clothes to neighbours, thrift stores, charities, and any organization that may need it. Keeping quality clothes out of landfills is a worthwhile goal!

#5. Work online

Anything that can be written, given, or paid online should be done online. This eliminates the use of paper and tree cutting. It seems like such a simple step, but it will minimize deforestation and waste of paper.

There you have it – five easy ways to assist in creating an ecofriendly environment in our workplaces and homes. Each day, all of us can help contribute to a healthier greener Earth.
