Fargo’s Emily Haine is Breaking Bad

I sat down with Fargo actor, Emily Haine, who steps into the shoes of Noreen Vanderslice in the second season of Fargo. Emily has graced the screen on various notable shows such as The 100 and Supernatural. Her character on Fargo, Noreen Vanderslice is a 17-year-old emancipated vegetarian who works in a butcher shop and is faced with great turmoil as the season progresses – something you have to watch to find out more about.

Who is Emily Haine?

Emily is an absolute ball of energy and it’s hard to overlook how passionate she is about the work that she does. You can watch the full interview in the link as we speak all things Fargo, Noreen, and working alongside Kirsten Dunst (Spiderman, Interview with a Vampire) and Jesse Plemons (Friday Night Lights, Breaking Bad)!

Winner of multiple Emmy and Golden Globes, Fargo is an American dark comedy-crime drama television series that is inspired by the 1996 film with the same name by the infamous Coen Brothers.

Each season carries with it a different plot line and the opening credits has a similar opening to the 1996 film, ‘This is a true story. The events depicted took place in [location] in [year]. At the request of the survivors, the names have been changed. Out of respect for the dead, the rest has been told exactly as it occurred.’ If you’re like me, you would’ve easily believed it. It is in fact fictional, as with the television series but it does add that special kick into bringing the audience into suspended belief.

A true talent in the arts, Emily has immersed herself in creating art through drawings and music, before she firmly decided that acting was her one and only. Her mother foretold that 2015 would be a career changing year for this actress and she was right! In merely 2 years, Emily has booked more than 9 roles which is absolutely astounding.

When asked if she has gotten used to seeing herself on television ~ ‘It’s weird haha’. We all start from humble beginnings and I am ecstatic to follow Emily’s journey.
