With these cold wet nights closing in, what better way to warm up than reaching into the liquor cabinet and mixing up a decadent Grand Marnier cocktail?
Originating from France, Grand Marnier is a premium orange liqueur that blends fine cognacs with the distilled essence of tropical oranges – perfect for creating sensational cocktails.
The label has a rich and luxurious history. It was created in 1880 by Alexandre Marnier-Lapostolle when oranges were a very rare commodity in France. The use of this exotic fruit by Marnier-Lapostolle in his liqueur was one of the earliest forms of innovation in spirits, and an audacious idea in its time. This part of the brand’s history lives on, as the oranges are still sourced from their original farms in the Caribbean.
With so much luxury in one bottle, we could not resist sharing some of these delicious recipe ideas with you for the winter season.
