Vancouver’s premier shopping spot Holt Renfrew unveiled an expansive and luxurious new home for its beauty department at its downtown flagship location. As part of two-year revitalization and enhancement of its store, Holts has created a new destination for colour, skincare, fragrance, and beauty services offering a unique and interactive experience for clientele.
The new Beauty Hall spans 16,000 square feet on the lower level of Holt Renfrew and features 29 distinct counters, as well as the nine private cabines. The décor and interior design concepts in the new beauty department reflect the continuation of the chic modernist interiors of the entire store, designed by New York-based architects Janson Goldstein.
Of the 29 brands with beauty counters available, seven are currently rated crueltyfree and vegan:
- Amore Pacific
- Charlotte Tilbury
*Chantecaille has one of nine private cabines to enjoy your treatments in.
Holt Renfrew also carries many crueltyfree and vegan brands without dedicated counters:
- Beauty Blender
- Jack Black
- Molton Brown
With such a dizzying array of beauty brands and fun, interactive displays make sure you give yourself plenty of time to visit and get lost in this spectacular new space!
Background on Holt Renfrew
Celebrating a 180-year heritage, Holt Renfrew is recognized worldwide for an inspired shopping experience. Founded in 1837 as a modest hat shop, Holt Renfrew would soon become a purveyor of fashion to Her Majesty Queen Victoria. In the 1930’s Holt Renfrew began to establish exclusive accounts with leading European designers, hosting Monsieur Christian Dior himself in 1947 as he launched his “New Look”. After many years of foreign ownership, Holt Renfrew was acquired in 1986 by W. Galen and the Hon. Hilary M. Weston. Under Weston ownership Holt Renfrew has become Canada’s destination for luxury retail.
