BLUSHVancouver Magazine appeals to, and is marketed to, a 30-50 demographic that identifies as female, who are interested in living an ecofriendly life, with style, health & wellness, beauty, travel, love and all the fun, quirky, awesome things that fall in between.
BLUSHVancouver seeks experienced (intermediate to advanced) writers who are looking to update their portfolios with new work and/or move their interests in a new direction. Women who view life/style writing as a means to a personal end goal and possibly not even related to their current career. This is an invitation to contribute with a team of women and should not an viewed as an opportunity for remuneration as we are seeking to get our voices heard where we live. As of December 2016, BLUSHVancouver is receiving 4,000-10,000 views per day with a majority of readers being female and located in Canada and west coast USA.
Ideally BLUSHVancouver seeks writers without an ‘online home’. Perhaps you made the hard decision to give-up blogging/writing because you found that maintaining a website, the social media (constant numbers building), attending events and juggling press releases, impossible to maintain, all the while working to support yourself in this city.
Here is an example of how BLUSHVancouver gets your writing out there: Local writer and media personality, Samantha Sito, a contributor to BLUSHVancouver, wrote a piece with a designer interview from LA Fashion Week. The piece was shared over 770 times from the website, has garnered 3,000+ reads, almost 1,500 Facebook views, 800+ impressions on Twitter. These numbers grow daily.
If you feel you would be an asset to our collaborative team, please visit our website and peruse the categories and articles within, view how we cover of events and interesting personalities, focusing on Vancouver, Lower Mainland, and soon to include Victoria and other locations within BC.
