Given Kim Crawford‘s reputation for excellence, it is not just about what is on the outside of the bottle, but also what is on the inside. Kim Crawford’s Sauvignon Blanc grapes are selected from vineyards in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley and the neighboring Awatere Valley.

Fast draining, alluvial loams over gravelly subsoils in these valleys provide ideal growing conditions for these grapes. This wine pairs beautifully with light salads due to its fresh, fruity, and zesty flavors. However, this wine is not just great on its own, it is great to mix. Pink Kim white wine cocktail

Pink Kim – Cocktail Created by Fanny Gauthier

1/2 oz. lemon juice
1/2 oz. lavender syrup
1 pinch of rosemary
3 raspberries
2 drops of orange blossom water
3 oz. Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc
4 oz. white cranberry juice

In a shaker, add the raspberries, lemon juice, and lavender syrup. Crush gently with a pestle. Add all the other ingredients and ice. Shake vigorously for 8 to 10 seconds. Filter with a strainer into a champagne glass.

Garnish with a raspberry skewer and add to the rim of your glass before serving.
