#RebelBeautyBites at Victoria Fashion Week

Victoria’s creative scene is rapidly growing and taking shape, featuring events that attract international attention for local creators. Victoria Fashion Week is a celebration of Vancouver Island’s fashion designers, models, stylists, artists and other fashion industry professionals. Their first major event took place during the week of February 20 to 25, 2017, culminating in a beautiful fashion show at The Atrium in Victoria.

Supplementing the runway show were several other Victoria Fashion Week events, including a VIP Launch Party, a Fashion Film Screening at The Vic, and a city-wide Victoria Fashion Week Flash Sale.

#VicFW showcased 13 local designers, several partner businesses, and 32 local models.

The VIP Launch Party was held upstairs at The Guild on Wharf Street. VIP Ticket Holders had a unique chance to mingle with designers, models, media, city personnel, and Victoria Fashion Week organizers while previewing the best of VicFW at this exclusive invite-only industry VIP party.

A deconstructed fashion show featuring one look from each of our featured designers’ collections unfolded throughout the evening, with appetizers and drinks served up by our hosts at The Guild and beats provided by the official Victoria Fashion Week DJ.
