2015 was a particularly outstanding harvest year, despite the unnerving forest fires in the area that summer, the harvest proceeded and the hot dry summer followed by cool fall nights enhanced the varietal flavours in the wines – which are now ready to be enjoyed.The Sumac Ridge 2016 Gewürztraminer is perfect for those warmer fall days, or if you are not quite ready to let go of summer. You will find it scented with lychee apricot and cantaloupe, it has an exotic spiciness and medium sweetness on the palate.
