Featuring over 200+ local and international exhibitors, Veg Expo promoted a wide array of edible and lifestyle products promoting a compassionate way of living. In 2016, over 11,000 enthusiasts attended and in 2017 over 15,000 attended! The convention centre floor was continuously at capacity and so alive with enthusiasm.
Veg Expo is a day of celebration where visitors are introduced to new, innovative, inspiring products and services that can be implemented into an ecofriendly lifestyle and to meet others that share this passion.
Veg Expo was a family-friendly event with an interactive kid zone, cooking demonstrations with local celebrated chefs, information on locally sourced foods and products, had a ‘vegetation lounge’, free samples and giveaways plus a natural vegan body builder showcase. There was so much that it seemed like an impossible task to see it all!
Tammy-Lynn McNabb (Health & Wellness Lifestyle TV) hosted the Veg Expo stage and what an amazing line-up it was. Featured speakers including international influencers such as 12-year keynote speaker Daniel Bissonnette, Michael Abramson (founder and creator of YamChops) to Samantha Shorkey (World Naturals bikini pro and author of Jacked On the Beanstalk), and David Carter (NFL American Football defensive and author of the 300 lb Vegan). Attendees were entertained by award-winning recording artist and motivational speaker Maestro Fresh Wes and Bella Gelateria’s founder James Coleridge and his inspiration story of developing the best vegan gelato in the world.
Sponsors included the refreshing Commodity Juicery, grocer Vegan Supply, printer Still Creek Press, sustainable transportation company Tesla, and creator of the onsite Fitness Zone Steve Nash Fitness World.
Here is a quick overview of exhibiting companies we enjoyed meeting and discussing their products with. Click here for a full list of the Veg Expo exhibitors list.
Edible Flours – Vegan Bakery with delivery with everything from chocolate chip cookies, birthday cakes, fresh croissants, and cupcakes. All goods are dairy free and egg free with gluten-free and soy-free options available. Delivery is also available for birthday party surprises.
